1 – When did you first get into music? What or who Inspired you?
When I was a child. My sister encouraged me. I was badly bullied at school and had no confidence but my amazing big sis supported me so much to believe that I could do it – so I did!
2 – Who did you grow up listening to, and does that impact on what you create now?
Madonna. She was such a big influence on me growing up. Her songs energised me and her ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ attitude really encouraged me to start performing, despite how terrified I was! Her songs have inspired my songwriting, hence writing a dance / pop album.
3 – How long have you been playing/writing?
Writing for 9 years but I’ve been singing and performing all my life.
4 – How often do you play live (include details and links for any upcoming gigs)?
Every weekend. I’m performing at Sixways (rugby) Stadium in Worcester on 28th Nov, 4th Dec, 12th Dec & 18th Dec. 28th Nov has sold out but there are a few tickets left for the others.
5 – What has been your favourite moment in music?
Watching TV show 90210 one night and hearing a song called Ride being played in a scene with my vocals on! I was flown out to California by U.S. Rock band Kiss the Girl to record vocals on their new album and I had no idea that Ride had been sync’d on 90210: one of my favourite shows!
6 – Where is the best place to find you online?
